Advertise On The COAI Web Site?

The COAI web site, www.coai.org, is the most active performing arts membership web site of its type. With nearly 7 million visitors last year, it generates over 19,000 hits a day. That is a lot of traffic!

Our web master is Steve Fowler. Last year he completely rebuilt the site, improving navigation through the site, improving site security, as well as giving the site a much more business like appearance. If you haven't visited it in a while, stop by the next time you are surfing the web.

At its meetings this past spring, the COAI board approved the site for membership and clown arts vendor advertising. Doing so adds a very unique membership benefit. A COAI member in good standing can advertise his or her clown services at very reasonable rates, giving your clown exposure on the world wide web. Surveys tell us that more and more families are going to the web to find family entertainers. Having a presence on the web is becoming necessary for aspiring and successful clown arts entertainers. You can have a hyperlink to an already established web site, or you can have a classified ad explaining your services. Membership home pages will also be available.

If you are a dealer or service provider who already advertises with COAI in The New Calliope, you can improve your exposure by adding web site ad-on advertising to your Calliope advertising at very attractive rates. The next time you discuss your advertising with the Calliope editor, be sure to ask about.

Banner and Tower advertising opportunities are available for clown arts dealers and supporting arts dealers who wish to use the web site to advertise to our members who check out the site on a regular basis.

Web Advertising Rates

Ads from supporting art vendors will be placed in the Clown Mall. Ad-On Ads jointly with The New Calliope will be offered at the following rates:

Full Page: $100.00/month
Half Page: $58.00/month
Quarter Page: $33.00/month
Eighth Page: $20.00/month

Rates for Web Ads without parallel Calliope Ad-On Ads are as above but with a 3 (three) month minimum.

Hyperlink Listing will be placed in a specific section of the web site. Each link must be supported by a signed linking agreement on file with the webmaster. One flat rate will be offered.

Hyperlink Listing $10.00 per month, 3 month minimum.

Member Classified ads will be offered with the member prepared text. Members will be offered the following flat rate.

$.25 per word, $15.00 minimum, with a 3 month minimum.

Banner/Tower ads will be available to those who desire to advertise on the web site in a non co-op manner. Ads will be placed at the discretion of the web master depending upon goods and services offered.

Banner - 468x60 $50.00/month, 3 month minimum.
Tower - 120x600 $100.00/month, 3 month minimum.

For those COAI members listed on our web site who desire a home page, home pages will be available after June 1, 2005.

The initial setup fee will be $25.00 and
the page will be hosted for a year at a time for $75.00.
