I was a little girl my Dad belonged to a sports club and at their picnic one
summer they hired a clown. That clown showed me how to tie a knot in a balloon
and played games with us, I knew then I loved clowns. I became a clown in 1997. My first instructor is a clown in the Midwest Clown Hall of Fame and she gave me the encouragement to continue on. I have been told by many that I clown from the heart. I know that all clowns have the ability to make a difference if only for one person. I am a medical professional and have seen lots of sadness and hurt. Clowning gives people smiles and lightens the loan if even for a few minutes. What a gift the art of clowning is. I take my clowning and the art of clowning seriously. I have had the privilege to preform in the Royal Hanneford Circus, Jordan Circus, Shine Circus, Circus Royale, The Detroit Thanksgiving Day Parade, Grand Openings and share birthday parties with children and adults. I have also performed at corporate picnics and hold makeup classes for new joeys. I am founder and President of BG s Sappy Slap Sticks Alley #338. I enjoy the opportunity to share and learn from other clowns. That is why I feel Alleys are so important. Everyone can learn and share something at the meetings.
